A New Responsible Officer for Guernsey and Alderney

The States are asked to decide:-

Whether, after consideration of the Policy Letter titled ‘A new Responsible Officer for Guernsey and Alderney,’ dated 5th October 2026 they are of the opinion:-

To appoint Dr Matthew Dorrian as Responsible Officer for both classes of medical practitioners in Guernsey and Alderney (the UK Connected Practitioners class and Local Practitioners class) under section 10 of The Regulation of Health Professions (Medical Practitioners) (Guernsey and Alderney) Ordinance, 2015, such appointment to take effect from 1st December 2026 for a period of 5 years.
