Committee for Housing

Constituted as a Principal Committee of the States with effect from 1st July, 2025.

Purpose

To enable community wellbeing and economic prosperity by ensuring all people living in Guernsey will have access to a range of good quality housing that is affordable, secure, energy efficient and adequate for their needs.

Constitution

A President and four members who shall be members of the States: provided that neither the President nor any member of the Committee for Housing shall be the President or member of the Policy & Resources Committee or the President of the Scrutiny Management Committee; and up to two non-voting members appointed by the Committee who shall not be members of the States.
