Finding Us

Visitors can enter the Royal Court House through the contemporary entrance on St James' Street, which leads directly to the historic Chamber where the States convene. The Chamber itself reflects the Island’s rich parliamentary heritage and offers a unique setting for the important decisions that shape Guernsey’s future.

Access

Enter the Royal Court building from St James Street, immediately opposite the Sunken Gardens and St James Concert and Assembly Hall.

Public entry to the building is through the revolving glass doors in St James Street.

There is very limited public on-street short-stay car parking in St James Street. The nearest off-street public parking is available at the Odeon car park, a short five minute walk away. Plentiful cycle and motor cycle parking is available just opposite the building at the War Memorial motorcycle park.

The nearest bus stop for bus services coming into St Peter Port is at Elizabeth College (bus routes 31, 41, 42, 51, 61, 71, 81).
