Election of an Ordinary Member and Chairman of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission

The States are asked to decide: -

Whether, after consideration of the Policy Letter of the Policy & Resources Committee entitled 'Election of an Ordinary Member and Chairman of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission' dated 24 th April, 2024, they are of the opinion:-

1.    To appoint Julian Winser as an ordinary member of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission for a three-year term with effect from 19 th June 2024 until 18 th June 2027.

2.    To appoint Julian Winser as Chairman of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission for a three-year term with effect from 19 th June 2024 until 18 th June 2027.

The above Propositions have been submitted to His Majesty's Procureur for advice on any legal or constitutional implications in accordance with Rule 4(1) of the Rules of Procedure of the States of Deliberation and their Committees.
